Today's FTM youth have many positive role models. Alyn Libman is an honor student at Berkeley.

FTMs marry women who already have children and adopt them, or adopt children with their wives as a couple after their transition, or have biological children of their own prior to transitioning.
Reed Erickson, engineer and philanthropist 1917-1992, transitioned in 1963 and launched the Erickson Educational Foundation in 1964. Reed laid the foundations for the Harry Benjamin International Gender Dysphoria Association. Reed helped to start the first gender clinic at Johns Hopkins University. Reed became father to two children. He lived in Mazatlan Mexico, moved to southern California then returned to Mexico where he died in 1992 at age 74.

Matt Rice transitioned with hormones and mastectomy but did not have a hysterectomy. He stopped taking hormones and became a biological parent after his transition.

"Alex Fox" had his biological son Sam prior to transitioning. Sam is also FTM.

Many trans men marry and have children with their wives via donor insemination.
